Tough call, no? Mine would have to be the second game, Ripto's Rage!. All three games have a close place in my heart, but as a kid, I played Spyro 2 the most. I love every aspect of this game. It's perfection at its finest.

I chanced upon this board through Google. I wasn't about to pass up a board named Hurricos that appears to be devoted mostly to the original three games.  Ripto's Rage was the best. No matter how many times I play it, I still love it (and not just because of Elora, but she doesn't hurt  ). |

Ain't that the truth? Of the three original games, I always thought it had the best story (so simple but still so good). Also, I've always been something of an Elora fan. |

It's a tough call between Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon, but I ended up voting for the latter, the former getting a close second. |

Bentley MADE YOTD for me. Love his accent and his brother. Getting to box the Yeti of Ripto's Rage was the bomb. 8)

I love Ripto's Rage and Year of the Dragon equally, but sentimental twerp that I am, I still like Spyro the Dragon the best. Maybe it's the hammy voice acting from the Kurg-- uh, I mean, Clancy Brown.
